Hello and welcome! I’m Jane Dalgity, the founder of Child Wellbeing NI.
I am passionate about highlighting and supporting children’s emotional health and wellbeing and really believe that by working together we can empower children to reach their potential in all aspects of life.
For over 20 years, I have supported children with significant and often complex Social, Behavioural, Emotional and Wellbeing (SBEW) needs, their families and schools. As a Specialist Teacher and Advisory Officer with the Education Authority's Behaviour Support Service, I have supported hundreds of children with a range of special educational needs including SBEW, ADHD, autism, adopted, fostered, looked after children, young carers, sensory processing issues, speech & language difficulties, developmental coordination disorder, learning difficulties and developmental delays.
